I really don't have a straight answer - in fact I have more questions than answers, specially after reading this, this, this, and this. HT: @viewfromthecave.
If Kony does get caught, will the benefits outweigh the costs? How can we know that? Can the history of interventions, and noninterventions, tell us something? Is Kony a Uganda problem - he is not in Uganda anymore? An Africa problem? Or a world problem?
The involvement of US troops probably isn't ideal. Why not troops from South Africa, Ghana, Botswana, or other African countries?
