In the panel the former Primer Minister says: Haiti should be looked at from the "perspective of paradox."
I remember a conversation with a dear friend and Senator in the country. He referred to millions of young people being unemployed. They are in what would otherwise be their most productive time in their lives. "It is difficult he said," "what can you do . . ." which sounds obvious, but made me think about how relatively easy things might look from the outside, but how incredibly difficult they surely are from the perspective of Haitian insiders.
