Complications

This is one of the best books I've read in the last few months. It is "electrifying," especially the last chapter. It is a fantastic look at medicine by an insider, who is also a great writer. He portrays medicine as an imperfect and challenging science, which reminded me so much of economics.
A TED talk by the author is here. He also writes for the The New Yorker
I would like to read everything he has written, and this will probably be the next one.
