A Juggler Economist

Amy has managed to carry out several large-scale research programs while supervising a steady flow of graduate students, coparenting two small children with her husband Ben, and still finding time to send multipage, single-spaced emails to colleagues whose papers she has read. Perhaps reflecting her early training as a juggler, Amy manages these multiple roles with good cheer and good humor.
From an article on John Bates Clark Medal winner Amy Finkelstein by Levin and Poterba (Journal of Economic Perspectives, Fall 2012).
